Here Comes Goodbye...

I can't remember when was the first time I heard this...
A very  sad song...
Both the lyrics and the video gives me a heavy heart because...

Here Comes Goodbye
Rascal Flatts

I can hear the truck tires coming up the gravel road
And its not like her to drive that slow, nothings on the radio
Footsteps on the front porch, I hear my doorbell
She usually comes right in, now I can tell

Here comes goodbye, here comes the last time
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear Im gonna cry
Here comes the pain, Here comes me wishing things had never changed
And she was right here in my arms tonight, but here comes goodbye

I can hear her say I love you like it was yesterday
And I can see it written on her face that she had never felt this way
One day I thought Id see her with her daddy by her side
And violins would play here comes the bride

Here comes goodbye, here comes the last time
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear Im gonna cry
Here comes the pain, Here comes me wishing things had never changed(d)
And she was right here in my arms tonight, but here comes goodbye

Why does it have to go from good to gone?
Before the lights turn on, yeah and you're left alone
All alone, but here comes goodbye

Oh-oh-oh-oh

Here comes goodbye, here comes the last time
Here comes the start of every sleepless night
The first of every tear I'm gonna cry
Here comes the pain, Here comes me wishing things had never changed
And she was right here in my arms tonight, but here comes goodbye

My Lolo Isidro and the 2010 Election

I've been checking the pictures on my camera phone and saw the pictures I've taken last January 1, 2009 during the Torino's Annual Reunion. This was hosted  my Mother's younger sister, Mommy Let. That was the first time that I was able to see a picture of my Grandfather. My Lolo Isidro died in 1964 and I don't know what he looks like because my mom don't have any picture of him.

<span class=

My Lolo Isidro became our town's councilor for two terms. I asked my mom why he isn't wearing an all white suit just like others during the inauguration and my mom said that they cannot afford to have one. He don't even have the money to finance the campaign, good thing that he has lots of friends and acquaintances who believe in him and help him won the election.

A year from now, May 10, 2010 to be exact, the Philippines will held its National and Local Election. As early as now, you can easily identify people who will run for public office (again?!). They are so visible on television shows/commercials, billboards and other social events. I just hope that who ever wins the election in any position will be a public servant and not just a politician.

Luminous Cross of Grace Sactuary : A Diffent Way of the Cross Experience

Visita Iglesia is one of many Old Holy Week customs of our brothers & sisters from the Roman Catholic Church where in they give respect to the Blessed Sacrament of each church they visit. Along with this Visita Iglesia is the Station of the Cross, in commemoration of the Passion of Jesus.

Yesterday, I joined my friends from my previous work for a Visita Iglesia. We go directly to this shrine called Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary at Agdangan, Quezon for our way of the cross.

We were assisted by Ms. Anna Marie. She shared with us the history of the said sanctuary.

As we start our way of the cross, I was amazed with what I saw inside. What I was expecting were pictures or paintings on each station, but the images here are life size paper mache!

I was so touched by the images. The scenario on each station makes me feel the real thing. There's this heavy feeling in my heart as I climb the stairs going to each station. Like the wounds of Jesus Christ which is almost real that it got my eyes teary... Indeed, God really loves us that Jesus has to suffer to take away the sin of His beloved children... As we reached the 14th station my heart pounds hard as I see Jesus Christ image... He is looking down at me smiling with arms wide open! The feeling I had that time was unexplainable. Walking slowly on the ramp I told my friends with a big smile, "Siguro ganito ang pakiramdam pag-akyat natin sa langit" (Maybe this is how it feels like when we go to heaven). An experience I will never ever forget...

We are not allowed to take pictures inside the Sanctuary. But you can visit their site to take a peek of what I had shared with you guys.

Wishing all of you a Blessed and Peaceful Holy Week.

Welcome to Kuting's Den...

Hello everyone and welcome to my den! I was thinking of transfering all my post from Cooking with Kuting and close the site. Well actually I have done the transferring part, but felt bad when I wasn't able to import the comment. So I decided let it stay that way and start a new one for the other stuffs I am into *wink*.

...and now, I am opening up my den to the world! To start with, let me welcome you with Jennifer Hudson's song If This Isn't Love. A song I love to sing a long with at the moment...
